Over the weekend of June 12 through 16, 2008 we traveled to Salt Lake City, Utah. This now lush desert area was settled in 1847 by Brigham Young and a stalwart group of Mormon pioneers. While visiting this picturesque city I did pause to reflect about the fact of how much change has occurred since then. It is likely none of these original settlers would recognize the area now.
It was Lisa’s Birthday and we decided to treat ourselves and spend it in San Diego, California. San Diego, the birthplace of California started as a sleepy small village in 1754 today it is by many standards still a small town but not it has just about everything you could want the ocean, temperate climate, lots to do and see and many great restaurants to dine at.
For this trip we picked three wonderful restaurants each unique and special in its own way. One for seafood, one for Island-Oriental food and one for its South of the Border charm. Come join us now and take a taste trip with us to experience these three outstanding restaurants.
While visiting Santa Fe in our end of the year sojourn we had the privilege of not only our time in Santa Fe and wonderful and beautiful city but of visiting three great restaurants. We chose these three excellent restaurants in Santa Fe because they are each well known for their quality, for their tempting and delicious food, and for their service and hospitality. All three serve both lunch and dinner. In this case, all three are either in or very near the downtown area of Santa Fe, hence near shopping, museums, art galleries and places to see and go.
